Meeting Theme, Word of the Day, Definition, and Quotes:
Theme: “Slowing Down”
Word of the Day: Unhurried – adjective: not rushed; deliberate and relaxed in pace.
Over the past few months, our church started doing a study called Godspeed: The Pace of Being Known, based on a short film by Matt Canlis (livegodspeed.org – watch it for free and let me know what you think!!). This wasn’t a normal “bible study” but more a reflection of how to build deeper relationships in a fast paced world, and it’s given me lots of food for thought, especially as a productivity junkie always trying to squeeze more minutes in my day. Especially as we enter the busy season, it’s important to at least TRY to be unhurried, to slow down, and be present where I’m at, especially with regards to those around me.

Meeting Theme, Word of the Day, Definition, and Quotes:
What Is Your Vision for 2025?
WOTD: Vision
Vision-the act or power of sensing with the eyes; sight. the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: an experience in which a personage, thing, or event appears vividly or credibly to the mind, although not actually present, often under the influence of a divine or other agency
Helen Keller “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”
Thomas Edison “Vision without execution is hallucination.”
John Lennon “You won’t get anything unless You have the Vision To Imagine It.”
Andy Stanley “People without clear vision are easily distracted, having a tendency to drift from one idea to another and often make foolish decisions that rob them of their dreams.”
Rick Warren “Vision is the ability to see potential in what others overlook.”
Unknown “Believe in Your vision and do everything you can to Turn it into Reality.”
Habakkuk 2:2-3(KJV) And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
